GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. Articles 2, 4, and the Second Transitory Provision of the constitutional amendments approved on December 3, 2015, by the National Assembly are left without effect from their approval.
2. Popularly elected authorities that have already been re-elected since the Montecristi Constitution came into force will not be able to run for the same office.
