Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, disclosed on Friday, September 2, 2022, that popular Nigerian rapper Ice Prince was arrested for an alleged assault on a police officer who had stopped him for driving without license plates. The incident allegedly occurred after the officer had stopped Ice Prince for driving without license plates.
At the time of the arrest, the police spokesman tweeted that an officer was being threatened by a rapper who said he would toss the cop into a river.
