A celebrity photographer named Busola Dakolo, who is also married to gospel singer Timi Dakolo, said that Fatoyinbo raped her twice when she was a teenager, roughly twenty years ago. However, Biodun Fatoyinbo denied the allegations. The court eventually ruled that Busola Dakolo’s rape claim against Biodun Fatoyinbo was baseless and motivated by emotion and dismissed the case. Busola Dakolo was fined one million Naira for wasting the court’s time.
Ex-COZA member Nnenna Kalu-Ude blamed Biodun Fatoyinbo for the death of fellow band member Tega Akpofure in January 2022. Akpofure’s husband later denied the accusation.
