Mehdi Taremi is a professional footballer for Porto of Portugal’s Primeira Liga and the Iranian national team. He was born on July 18, 1992. Although he got his start at Shahin Bushehr and Iranjavan, Mehdi Taremi blossomed late in his career while playing for Persepolis, where he led the league in scoring in both the 2015–16 and 2016–17 seasons.

Mehdi Taremi started his career at the academy in Bargh Bushehr before moving on to the youth academy in Iranjavan. In the summer of 2010, Medhi Taremi began working with Shahin Bushehr.
