Trevor Noah is South Africa’s top comedian. He also works as a TV host, writer, actor, and political pundit. Comedy Central’s The Daily Show is an American satirical news program that he hosts. The 20th of February, 1984, is his birthday.
Trevor Noah has been nominated for eleven prizes and won several of them, including the Primetime Emmy. In his stand-up comedy performances, he often made pointed references to his upbringing in South Africa, for which he became well-known.
His Swiss-white father fathered him by a Xhosa woman from South Africa. The apartheid regime was in place when Trevor Noah was born. His mother and grandmother brought him up in Soweto, a township outside of Johannesburg that was exclusively for black people because of the illegality of his parents’ relationship.
